The BLUGH: January 10, 2024
“Beware the barrenness of a busy life.”
Well, Ocra (my nickname for Socrates), I’ve been busy, and let me tell ya, the BLUGH has been BARREN as a result. But no more!! I’m back and things are BLUGHier than they’ve ever been. I have lots of products, books, and dumb short videos I want to share with you all. And I WILL. But not this week lolololol. Been GOING GOING GOING and when I tell you it’s been packed with WONDERFUL things, know that I am typing TRUTH. But I feel like I have such a backlog of thoughts/ideas/poems that I need to pump out and I am very much looking forward to a little more down time to get those out of my system. ALSO, please explain to me why I don’t make time to journal in the morning but DO make time to watch a 6:17 video about colorectal health. Who and what have I become?
I once read there’s no such thing as “too busy”. You’re never “too busy”, you just prioritize what matters most to you. That shook me deep within my soul and now I always try refrain from saying “I’m too busy”. Now if a friend or loved one wants to hang out, I just say, “I can’t today, you’re not a priority for me right now” I’M KIDDING but can you imagine!? We have basically no control over anything in life, and so I like the idea of controlling my to dos and not acting like a victim of circumstance. I’m not busy, I just have priorities. Thoughts!??!!?
Finally, my apologies that you had to go 9 days without the alliterative title for the month. It’s Jaunty January. It’s a very good thing and jauntiness is very hot right now, believe me.
