The BLUGH: December 14, 2022

BLUGH DAY. Mommy has been visiting and we have been going going going! She arrived on Friday, December 9th and has been here for 3 weeks. When I tell you that we have been GOING! Please see below for list:
Friday Night: Mommy meets friends at one of my favorite bars/breweries, TALEA. I paid a few people to show up so numbers would be good. Overall, very successful and Mommy thinks I know people.
Saturday: We meet Little Brother (long story, not biologically our brother but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually our little brother) at his hotel in Manhattan. His hotel? The peak of luxury: Margaritaville. As SantaCon ensued in full effect, we explored Nordstrom, Central Park, Bergdorf Goodman, Union Square, FiDi, Red Hook, Gowanus.
Sunday: Hudson Yards and City Climb PREVIEW. The weather was too inclement and so we had to reschedule. 🙏More on this later🙏 Then we went to Little Spain, and then went to Seann and Nicole’s Show (le link and le link) and then went back to Paradise in Times Square.
Monday: Watched Better Call Saul all morning, then did City Climb for real. IT WAS AWESOME EVERYONE SHOULD DO IT. Then we saw the Christmas Spectacular with the Radio City Rockettes and then walked around 30 Rock. It was amazing. 🥹
Tuesday: Mommy came to see my office in Hoboken. If mommy visits, it’s bring your mom to work day ALWAYS. Ate at my favorite restaurant in Hoboken, watched Alone Season 8. Then packed. Going to SC for winter.

As stated above, we went to Hudson Yards and it was so BEAUTIFUL. Shopping in person can be fun! And more thoughtful! And less clicky!

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT IT. City Climb was epic and challenging and rewarding and AMAZING. It’s a recommend for anyone who lives in or visits NYC ever. So awesome and the guides were amazing and reassuring.

TIKTOK, NAY, THE THEATER
I can’t believe we got to go see the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. Live theater is really special!! I am inspired and in awe. Plus live theaters often have bathroom lounges, a huge perk.
